About Yolanda Nuanyan Wang – RD, ACSM-CPT


Yolanda is a Registered Dietitian and an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer with a strong foundation in both nutrition and exercise science. She graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a Dietetics Major and a Kinesiology Minor.


Currently, she also works at the BC Brain Wellness Program at UBC as a research dietitian, where she provides personalized one-on-one nutrition education, conducts regular check-ins, and tracks participants’ progress. She also collaborates with local chefs to develop healthy recipes and offers engaging cooking classes as part of the program.

Her previous experience includes working as a Registered Dietitian at BC Children’s and Women’s Hospitals and multiple Long Term Care facilities. In addition, she has served as a personal trainer and fitness instructor at the UBC Recreation Center.

With a passion for helping clients achieve a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle, Yolanda believes that nutrition and exercise are integral to overall well-being. Her personal interests in dancing, swimming, and running have given her valuable insights into the importance of cross-training and developing well-rounded fitness programs to enhance performance.

She is committed to tailoring her programs to meet the unique needs and health goals of individuals at various life stages and from different socioeconomic backgrounds.
