Cynthia Pathipati completed her bachelor’s in physiotherapy and is a qualified Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of BC with more than 15 yrs of experience. She is knowledgeable and caring and has built her career as a physiotherapist working in Public health settings and private clinics, helping individuals overcome pain and regain their active lifestyles.

Cynthia pursued her passion for physiotherapy further by attending professional courses in Orthopedics and advancing her skills through various post-graduate training. She has done several courses in Orthopedics with mechanical diagnosis and treatment by The McKenzie Institute of Canada, The Institute of Advanced Physiotherapy Education and courses in manual therapy.
With a strong foundation in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, specialized knowledge in pelvic floor physiotherapy, and a special interest in neurological physiotherapy, Cynthia is dedicated to providing compassionate care tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
Cynthia, along with upkeeping her skills in orthopedic physiotherapy, developed a special interest in Pelvic floor health and has completed advanced-level courses in the management of Pelvic floor dysfunction for both men and women. She is passionate about bringing the latest research into everyday practice and increasing general awareness of pelvic health issues in the community.
She integrates internal and external pelvic floor physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management techniques to provide clients with a specific, evidence-based recovery program.
Cynthia is also trained in the ‘Bobath Concept’ treatment approach for adults with neurological disorders and can provide treatment services to clients affected by neurological injury and in helping rehabilitate patients post-acquired brain injury/ stroke to restore their abilities to their full potential.
She is passionate about empowering her clients to take control of their health, be actively involved in their rehabilitation, and enable them to reach their rehab goals. This motivated her to start Opal Physiotherapy Clinic In Langley, BC.
